Parenting and family life are challenging. This isn't news to anyone. However, relationships matter! We all have different types of relationships in our lives, and God wants us to function within our families and friendships in a way that shows His love and grace. In the Bible, we find genuine people, struggling parents, disrespectful kids, immensely broken families, living immensely broken lives, yet perfectly loved by their Father in Heaven, and that's where we're going to get our help from. Not so much by looking at the dynamic among those families in the Bible, but looking at how the Father loves his imperfect and broken children, how He loves us, and then trying to apply that to our relationships.
