Good Shepherd Family,
I want to thank you for your continued support and flexibility during these uncertain times. As Pastor Marty always reminds us, we have to plan to be flexible. With that said, the decision has been made with our Elders consultation to remain online through the end of the year for worship. This will also include our 7:00 p.m. Christmas Eve worship. Sunday morning worship will continue to be at 10:00 a.m.
Please know this was not an easy decision to make. However, with how prevalent the Covid-19 virus is right now in our community and within our congregation, we feel it is the best choice for our Good Shepherd family’s health and safety this holiday season. We are committed to making our Christmas Eve online worship the best it can be and look forward to celebrating our Savior’s birth with you from the comfort of your homes. There will be more details coming about this worship in the weeks ahead.
I thank God for the technical capabilities He has blessed us with to remain connected as a church family. I also want to thank all of our volunteers on our AV Team and Worship Team who make our worship production possible every Sunday.
No decisions have been made for what worship will look like at the start of 2021. We plan to wait and see how the virus is impacting our community as we get closer to that time.
There is no doubt Christmas Eve worship will feel a little different this year. However, I invite you to rest in the promise Jesus makes that wherever two or more are gathered in His name, there He will also be, whether that be in your home or connected to your church family online.
May our Lord continue to bless you and keep you safe!
