WHAT TO EXPECT
Follow The Star is a unique production of the life of Jesus that tells, not only the common Nativity story of the birth of Jesus during the Christmas season, but also the story of His suffering, death, and resurrection; scenes not generally displayed in your typical Christmas story. Because the Nativity of Jesus tells only a piece of the story,
Good Shepherd designed Follow The Star as a gift to our community to tell, “the rest of the story.”

Follow The Star is a spectacular live outdoor drive-through, walk-through production featuring ten scenes of the life of Jesus: Annunciation, Nativity, Triumphal Entry, Last Supper, Betrayal, Pontius Pilate, Crucifixion, Resurrection, Ascension, ending with our Christmas Present scene with a modern day family reading the Nativity story found in the Gospel of Luke.

Follow The Star benefits Hill Country Community Ministries, a local food pantry here in Central Texas. HCCM typically receives 60-65% of its food through donations. HCCM needs to purchase food to help continue to provide for families in need. In 2022, HCCM provided food to over 30,255 families. Follow The Star is HCCM largest donation of the year as we encourage guests to bring non-perishable food items or make monetary donations to HCCM while at Follow The Star!
