Watch Good Shepherd Online:
Jeanne began serving at Good Shepherd in February 2019. She grew up in a Lutheran family on a dairy farm in Michigan and earned a BA in secondary education from Michigan State University. After teaching high school students for three years Jeanne began a career with The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. She has served congregations and organizations in Michigan, Missouri, and Texas. She earned her Colloquy from Concordia University Chicago (River Forest), has a MA in Education Administration from Eastern Michigan University, and an EdD in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University. In 2000 Jeanne married James, a second career pastor. One of her favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5-6. She has learned firsthand how God directs our lives when we trust Him, even when we do not know or understand the why. Faith works!
Dear Good Shepherd Family,
At Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, we take the personal health and wellness of our members very seriously. You may have some growing concerns about the Coronavirus (COVD-19), and we wanted to put your mind at ease by making you aware of the precautionary steps we are taking as a church:
We are closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies and public health officials, and we will update you as new information becomes available.
Thank you for being a part of the Good Shepherd family! We are committed to making our church a safe and enjoyable place for all who worship with us. If you need Pastoral Care, please contact us at pastoralcare@gstx.org or call 512.258.6227.
