Watch Good Shepherd Online:
Hi there! Thank you so much for checking us out. A couple of things about me, you should know. My path to becoming a pastor was not the usual one. I never thought, growing up, I was going to be “a pastor.” Instead, most of my efforts were focused on sports. Football and Baseball primarily, so much so that I played quarterback at the University of Wyoming. Yes, you can Google it, but don’t judge the pictures you may find. After transferring and playing college baseball for a season, my sports career was over, and I finished my college years at Concordia University in Austin, TX.
It was then I found Good Shepherd. I became a member in 2011 and joined the staff in 2013 as the Worship Producer and Communications Director. In the spring of 2017, the congregation voted that I enroll at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO to become an associate pastor at Good Shepherd with a focus on youth and young families. I was ordained and installed at Good Shepherd as Associate Pastor in December 2019.
In between all of that, I married my wife and best friend Kelly (Director of Kid’s Kount MDO). We are blessed to have two children, Beckett and Bailey who keep us on our toes and quite busy.
When I’m not completing Kelly’s honey-do lists around the house, changing diapers, or watching Netflix, I enjoy playing golf, watching sports, hunting, fishing, and time spent around the BBQ Pit.
That’s my story. We all have one, and I’d love to hear yours, whatever it may be. Let’s grab coffee, lunch, a round of golf; you name it!
